Multiply's Latest Feature: A MEDIA LOCKER

Originally posted at http://imnotyourordinaryguy.multiply.com

Gahd! One of the reasons why I erased my old account was I really can't manage all my posts there. I had more than 350 album posts viewable by everyone so when the time came that I wanted to keep my posts private, I always had to go and check each and every album and change it's settings - which was a hassle, and it made me erase the whole account na lang. hehe!

NOW! The time has arrived! (Too bad it was late na because I already erased my old account, huhu) But, it's better late forever, ika nga ni Karlo, and Multiply have already added what I consider the one of the best features of the site to date, and it is the......... MULTIPLY MEDIA LOCKER.

If you want to go and check your MEDIA LOCKER, you just type in your site and add "/manage". For example, http://imnotyourordinaryguy.multiply.com/manage. OR, in your Multiply INBOX, check the POST NEW CONTENT Box and at the lower right portion of that box you will see ">Post from my Media Locker".

Then and there, you will get to see all your posts categorized if it's an album, a review, a music post or whatsoever and Voila! You'd get to change the settings of your post in less than a minute, (or more than a minute if you have a slow connection, hehe). From "for everyone" to "contacts" only, or from "contacts" only to " for everyone", you can change, any time, using your MULTIPLY MEDIA LOCKER!

Woot Woot!

Cool diba?

much love.

I am a Laid-Back Doer

Originally posted at http://imnotyourordinaryguy.multiply.com

Laid-back Doers are friendly, happy persons. They enjoy being together with other people. Smart, eloquent, witty and charming, they like to be the centre of attraction. They do not like to be alone. Their zest for life ensures that others feel well in their company and that they quickly get to know people. Laid-back Doers get the best out of every moment - many people of this type have a gift for making their whole life one big party. Boredom is unknown in their presence because they are very good at carrying others away with their enthusiasm, their good mood and their optimism.

Abstract thinking and profound philosophising about the meaning of life appeal less to Laid-back Doers. They are pragmatic, realistic and live completely in the here and now. At work too, they prefer it when it’s all go and they can act out their purposeful manner to the full. They have no problem handling several tasks at once and they blossom out in crisis situations! A varied field of activity with a lot of social contacts is just the right thing for them. One will also seldom find them inactive in their spare time; due to their open, curious nature, they mostly have many hobbies and interests. They are not afraid of the unknown: as they are flexible and creative, they quickly adjust to new situations and make the best of them. They sometimes come into conflict with strict rules or hierarchies by which they quickly feel constrained and against which they rebel.

As friends, Laid-back Doers are generous, helpful persons who attach great importance to harmonious relationships and a good atmosphere. Their sociable manner means that they have a large circle of friends and they love having the house full of many different types of guests. They are happy to give in to their spontaneous moods and fancies in the just one or two important things. This makes them appear somewhat unpredictable to those with a quieter nature. When it really matters, you can rely on them one hundred percent. As partners, they are creative, impetuous and imaginative - as long as their partner knows how to fascinate them. They can hardly stand boredom or routine in a relationship. They do not like conflicts at all; if a relationship becomes too strenuous or involves too much effort, they tend to withdraw from the partnership and start to look for a new partner. However, if one manages to keep their curiosity alive in the long term and surprise them again and again, one has a loyal and loving partner.

Holp-Up 'to!........ TUWAD! LMFAO!

When I was in 1st year college, I think I was the guy they consider as the class clown. I love goofing around and making myself look stupid. Haha! Stupid naman kasi talaga ako. hahaha! Anyway the story goes like this, my beautiful classmates, Rachelle and Guia (now in Canada) always go home together. We used to have classes up to 7 or 8:30 pm, and we really go home late.

I just can't remember the date it happened but my classmate Rachelle and Guia was held-up in front of Planetarium. If you know Intramuros, if you know Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, then I guess you have an idea why are they in Planetarium -dun kasi may mga dumadaang jeep pauwi sa kanila. =)

So when Guia and Rachelle got help-up, they initially told me the story, and I quote, "nagaabang kami ng jeep, tas may biglang lumapit samin, tinutukan ako, sabi hold-up to"as Guia have said. Rachelle went on saying "bigla nga akong kinabahan eh." ayun lang nasabi ni chelle, LOL! Di ko na maalala eh, basta ayun na. =))

Then, stupid, funny and annoying that I am, Kinuwento ko sa classmates namin ang nangyari. Hahahahahahahaha!

Joseph: Uy guys, mag-ingat kayo, pag chem wag na kayo dadaan sa Planetarium, sila guia nahold-up. Tinutukan.

Classmate: NG ANO?!

Joseph: ng Titi! Sabi, hold-up to! Tuwad!

Classmates: LMFAO! (o ha>? gumaganyan na kami dati pa? chos!)

Joseph: Pero promise naholdap nga siya. Hahahahah!

Ayun lang!

Hahahaha! =))

I did. No, I did not.

Timing.......

Timing…

(Haha! Walang magawa.. Random Thoughts…)

It’s funny because I haven’t been in love (romantically) but I am so excited to have kids. The wee-wee.. the poo-poo! Haha! And everything that goes with it… But it’s crazy because I don’t have a girlfriend… I am soo young… and I don’t know how to court… hahha! =)

To make my stupid story short… I am so excited to have someone who will make me smile even without doing anything I guess I have found her… But can’t court her right now… I already told her that I really like and love her… She’s seeing someone else now… And I'm soo jealous… There are a lot of things that I need to accomplish… Soo many deadlines that I need to beat… So many things that I need to learn.. and soo many experiences I need to have… Love is soo not in my priorities right now… =/

Then I realized that timing is everything to get something you really want… Before, I thought everything could be done when you want it… where you want it.. But love… it’s complicated… We could all have found someone that’s destined for us… But then again, when it’s not yet the time.. it will never happen… I wish I’ll have her and give her the things I really would want to give her… But only time can tell… We could end up together.. or we could just be friends forever… But whatever happens… I know there’s a purpose behind it.,. She and I might not be lovers and end up with someone else, but the value of waiting and timing has taught how to wait and how to spend the time wisely while waiting…

And if anything goes wrong..

I say…

“tear here”

The One That Got Away

*This blog was originally posted at http://imnotyourordinaryguy.multiply.com last June 9, 2008.

The one that got away
Source: The Manila Times
By: Mark J. Macapagal

In your life, you’ll make note of a lot of people. Ones with whom you shared something special, ones who will always mean something. There’s the one you first kissed, the one you first loved, the one you lost your virginity to, the one you put on a pedestal, the one you’re with…and the one that got away.

Who is the one that got away? I guess it’s that person with who everything was great, everything was perfect, but the timing was just wrong. There was no fault in the person, there was no flaw in the chemistry, but the cards just didn’t fall the right way, I suppose.

I believe in the fact that ending up with someone, finding a longtime partner that is, does not lie merely in the other person. I can actually argue that an equal part, or maybe even the greater part, has to do with the matter of timing. It has to do with you being ready to settle down and commit to someone in a way that goes beyond the little niceties of giddy romance.

How often have you gone through it without even realizing it? When you’re not ready to commit in that mature manner, it doesn’t matter who you’re with, it just doesn’t work. Small problems become big; inconsequentials become dealbreakers simply because you’re not ready and it shows. It’s not that you and the person you’re with are no good; it’s just that it’s
not yet right, and little things become the flashpoint of that fact.

Then one day you’re ready. You really are. And when this happens you’ll be ready to settle down with someone. He or she may not be the most perfect, they might not be the brightest star of romance to ever have burned in your life, but it’ll work because you’re ready. It’ll work because it’s the right time and you’ll make it work. And it’ll make sense, it really
will.

So that day comes when you’re finally making sense of things, and you find yourself to be a different person. Things are different, your approach is different, you finally understand who you are and what you want, and you’ve become ready because the time has truly arrived. And mind you, there’s no telling when this day will come. Hopefully you’re single but you could be in a long-term relationship, you could be married with three kids, it doesn’t matter. All you know is that you’ve changed, and for some reason, the one that got away, is the first person you think about.

You’ll think about them because you’ll wonder, “What if they were here today?” You’ll wonder, “What if we were together now, with me as I am and not as I was?” That’s what the one that got away is. The biggest “What if?” you’ll have in your life.

If you’re married, you’ll just have to accept the fact that the one that got away, got away. Believe me, no matter how fairy tale you think your marriage is, this can happen to the best of us. But hopefully you’re mature enough to realize that you’re already with the one you’re with
and this is just another test of your commitment, one which will just strengthen your marriage when you get past it. Sure, you’ll think about him/her every so often, but it’s alright. It’s never nice to live with a “might have been,” but it happens.

Maybe the one that got away is the one who’s already married. In which case it’s the same thing. You just have to accept and know that your memories of that person will probably bring a nice little smile to you! lips in the future when you’re old and gray and reminiscing.

But if neither of that is the case, then it’s different. What do you do if it’s not yet too late? Simple…find him, find her. Because the very existence of a “one that got away” means that you’ll always wonder, what if you got that one?

Ask him out to coffee, ask her out to a movie, it doesn’t matter if you’ve dropped in from out of nowhere. You’d be surprised, you just might be “the one that got away” as well for the person who is your “the one that got away.”

You might drop in from out of nowhere and it won’t make a difference. If the timing is finally right, it’ll all just fall into place somehow and you know, I’m thinking, it would be a great feeling, in the end, to be able to say to someone, “Hey you, you’re the one that almost got away.”

LMFAO! haha! kasi kahit 2nd or 3rd interview pa yan kung ayaw ko, di ako pupunta. LOLS!

4. Distance - The distance of the office from my house. Some companies have contacted me for an interview pero pag malayo, ayawan na! LOLS! Haha! Kasi if ever dun ako mag-work, kamusta naman yun? ***Winner! Thanks to Pao for this quote. =) Kung lahat ng tao ganyan, wala ng away away, wala ng bitterness. =P "FORGIVE AND BE FREE. FORGET THAT YOU HAVE FORGIVEN AND BE FREER." Hihi! Kaya ikaw, wag ka na bitter. Wag ka na magalit sakin dahil in the first place hindi naman ikaw ang inaway ko, nag-react ka lang ng hindi tama dahil tinamaan ka siguro. So Sorry... For everything that you have done, I already have forgiven you. But please do not fool me, even a dog knows when he is being fooled. I am more than a dog noh! I am Joseph Albert. =P

P.S.

DEPRESSION....... AND SOMETHING LIKE IT.

*This blog was originally posted at http://imnotyourordinaryguy.multiply.com last May 27, 2008.

I know I'm not the best... I know I have my flaws, and I know I do things differently.

All I need is a chance... A chance to prove to the world that I can be somebody.

Not because I want to be known, but because I want to prove to myself that I am worth something.

In the end, I know it will be all up to me.

But why is that when I have already convinced myself that I want to shine, things do not go my way?!

Argh!

Thank You to Varian S. Mazo dahil sa kanya ko to inadvice, and thanks rin kay Aileen Quaimbao ( i adviced her to bring sapin-sapin). LOL!

THE REASON WHY I ERASED MY ACCOUNT (notyourordinaryguy.multiply.com))

First, because I was depressed, and Patricia got it right when she guessed why I erased my account. For whatever reason was that, please dare not to ask, it's something deep and something I wouldn't tell anyone. The reason is not related to my love life - because I don't have any (LOLS), to a friend, or to anyone whom I was in contact with with notyourordinaryguy.

Second, I am not avoiding someone from that account. Every person who was a contact in that account is important to me and now I am trying to trace everyone back and be connected again.

Third, It's not duh-rama. I erased it because of a deep reason and I also felt the need of erasing it, to erase past grudges, past problems and past bad things that happened in my life while I was using that account. Sure I carried with me everything I learned and I think that is the more important thing now. Like Ate Chen said, a good memory forgets what is not worth remembering, and I still remember every person whom I was connected with because they are / you are a part of a good memory.

Fourth, I knew I could easily make another one, and I must admit that it was pretty hard to think of another userid - the userid's i thought of were "joaquinbordado", "dyesebel", "babangonakotduduruginkita", and "kaputolangisangawit", LOLS! Guess I got carried away with the titles of these shows. I also thought of userids which would still carry notyourordinaryguy with it, but it's sad to say that multiply could only allow up to 20 characters only, these userids I thought of were, "notyourordinaryguythecomeback", "notyourordinaryguytherepeat", "thereturnofnotyourordinaryguy", LOLS! Might seem shallow isn't? And I guess you would agree that these were shallow, but to justify this, all I wanted was to still put and carry "notyourordinaryguy" with my 'new' userid. LOL! I also thought of "notyourordinaryguy2", but I didn't like it. LOL!

Anyway, this blog is viewable by everyone, whether you are my contact or not, sure you could read it and if you were my contact before, with my notyourordinaryguy account, feel free to add me because now "imnotyourordinaryguy", what a very interesting userid! vey unique! well thought of! inspiring! brilliant! LOL!

TEST!

Test! =)
